Our Philosophy

Wild Things Outdoor Learning is committed to helping our little ones develop a connection with nature, each other and themselves through play and exploration outdoors. We will be following some of the main aspects of forest schools including play, exploration and supported risk taking. Our process will incorporate much more than just knowledge-gathering, and our bigger focus will be on our whole learner, helping them to develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. Through the forest school approach, our little ones’ confidence will grow and they will become more collaborative, cooperative, resilient and independent. Everything we do will center around the learners and their passions and interests. We will explore, play, get messy and take risks, all in the name of learning and growing!!
