Homeschool Nature Class: TK(ish) - 2nd Grade(ish)
We are so exctied to be opening up the next step in our learning journey! This fall, we are looking to start our Homeschool Nature Class. This will be a mixed aged group of kiddos from around TK(ish) - 2nd Grade(ish). Based on what we know about how children develop and learn best through play all the way up to 7 or 8 years old (and up), this class will look very much like our Nature Preschool Class. We will be entire student-led, play-based and outdoors. After getting the know the little ones and getting their input at the start of the session, we will introduce some "passion projects" that may include some academic concepts, however we will not be following any set curriculum. What we learn will be organic based on the students' interests and how it incorporates into nature and their play. We are still working out the logistics of days and hours, so please if you have interest in our program, fill in the form below and let me know your preferences! While I of course won't be able to accomodate everyone, I will do my best to schedule the classes to work best for the most people. If you have a little one on the younger side, who could do either this class, or the Nature Preschool Class, we are also happy to mix and match and have them do both (my own little one will likely do 2 days with the older group and another day with the younger group). Also, you are welcome to join a Shadow Day during our Summer Camp if you'd like to check out what we are all about. While the children will be younger, you will get an idea of what we are aiming for with this class as well! I look forward to connecting soon!
Basic Information
Ages of Students: 4+- 7+
Number of Students: 6+ (cap at 12, so save your spot TODAY!)
Student-Teacher Ratio: Never more than 6 - 1
Fall Session: 14 weeks (September 8 - December `19 with the week of Thanksgiving off)
Class Days: 2 xs a week (TBD) Choose 1 or 2!
Hours: TBD (maybe 8:00 - 1:00 or 9:00 - 2:00; or just align it with the Nature Preschool at 8:00 - 12:00?
Drop-off/Pick-up/Free Play: 1st half hour and last half hour

Fees (these are the Nature Preschool Class, based on a 8:00 - 12:00 schedule, price will vary based on number of hours): From $1,295 (1 half-day) to $2,585 (2 half-days) for the full 14 week session
